I’m very new to this—not to wigs, but to installing them. I have alopecia and lost all of my hair many years ago. I’ve worn brands like Jon Renau and Raquel Welch, but I’ve never had a hairline that truly looks real.

I went down a rabbit hole of YouTube and TikTok installation videos, and I’m going to give it a try, but I could really use some guidance. I found a couple on LUVEME and Wiggins that I like but what kind of lace is best for this very pale skin? Should I go with a 13x4, 13x6, or full lace wig? This is a whole new world for me. I know lace styles can vary in price, so I would like to keep it under $300.
