the name of this bookstore is "foreign language bookstore" yet it features a great variety of books, Including domestic, translated and the original English ones. Sadly I couldn't afford to buy any of them. Compared to the lotr, The Harry Potter series is more popular in China, Especially among the younger Generations, you can see Chinese / bilingual books in the childrenbook's section while lotr books are not. My friends never talked about lotr either. But many adults know about them and watched the movies many times. long live lotr!

Thrifting, and got some Goosebumps books in English and Chinese versions. Here in China, these books seems to be introduced in around 2000s, and back in 2010s they were quite popular among us elementary school students- we would borrow them from  one another. True thrilling and awesome books at our time. Now I am 21 and how time flies... I seldom chat with my elementary classmates nowadays. But I remember these childhood books and decide to add them into my collection. 

Now I am educated and can read these children's English books; but childhood is never coming back. 

In the store there are also some English books like Readers Digest, a great bunch of Harry Potter, lord of the rings, and many other children's English books. If they bring in some nostalgia for you? 

Chinese lotr fan here... have no idea why this 2005 tv show, home with kids家有儿女 has this Aragon poster. What's more, it features 魔戒武器聖戰, the Chinese name of one official lotr book - hence I bought it. The lord of the rings weapons and warfare. Great book with detailed descriptions of weapons, characters, villains, etc.

What's more, I am new to the lotr and don't know much, yet it seems that the Chinese lotr fans fancy Legolas so much (must be his charming look in the movie). Is this common in western lotr fans? lol

I manage to get a lot of physical copies of relating books, like script books, artbooks, novelizations, etc. And I collect music as well. I could not find lossless format of Batman Begins OST or Batman Gotham Knight OST on web, so I decided to buy physical copies. What's more I uploaded them onto archive.org in case someone want them too. But I am afraid I would violate community rules or so on, so I am not sharing the links here. You may search for them.

In Batman begins, when Bruce is about to transform into batman again and leave the manor & the incoming birthday party, he tells Alfred to

" Keep them happy until I arrive. Tell them that joke you know. "

But there is actually no sign of this joke in the movie , and neither in the novelization. Any ideas? Or did I miss something in the movie?
