I don't blame the waiter

Last night we went to a outback. Me, my boyfriend, and our friend had a server who was nice and also handsome, if I had to say.

The service went nice and the food was good. The only hiccup my boyfriend saw was that his margarita came out a little late And my boyfriend said for that he wasn't gonna tip him anything, and by the time we were ready to leave, he still asked the server if he could bring him a to-go cup to put the rest of his margarita—which was still about halfway full and The server told him he couldn't Which made him even more upset.

Afterwards, my boyfriend went to the bathroom, as we were about to go, and My friend and I flagged our server down, gave him a little cash, and apologized for my boyfriend being mad at him when it wasn't his fault.

Then the server told us, "Maybe I could have gotten him a to-go drink, and then you guys handle that at your table, however you want. But I tend to not do favors for people who are rude to me But you ladies have a good night."

Leaving my boyfriend was upset, but I have to say, I can't even be mad at how the server handled it. He didn't do anything wrong, and it would've been doing my boyfriend a favor if only he hadn't gotten upset and not tipped for something that wasn't in the server's control.
