⚠️ Beware: I believe an employee at CANABANGKA Chinatown pocketed part of my weed after offering to re-roll it
I went to CANABANGKA in Chinatown twice. The first time, one of the employees was incredibly friendly, chatting to me like a mate and explaining all the different strains and products. That positive experience was exactly why I decided to go back.
Unfortunately, the second visit completely changed my opinion. The same employee offered to turn my single pre-roll into two smaller joints mixed with blue lotus. It sounded like a decent idea, so I agreed.
While he was rolling them, there was what looked to me like around 0.7–0.8 g of flower and blue lotus left on the tray. When he took out a small brown sealing bag, I naturally assumed he was going to bag the leftovers for me. Instead, he put the bag straight into his own pocket.
I was already pretty high by then and didn’t want to make a scene or ruin my evening in Chinatown, so I didn’t confront him. Looking back, I really wish I had.
What annoys me even more is that this shop already charges more than my plug in the UK I normally buy from, so I certainly wasn’t expecting to leave feeling like part of what I’d paid for had disappeared.
Maybe other people have had good experiences there, but this was mine. If you ever let someone there re-roll your flower or pre-rolls, I’d suggest watching the whole process carefully and making sure you receive everything that’s yours.
