Hi all, I'm after some advice

I am a 22F, NZ Citizen about to graduate (hopefully) from college in the US. I eventually want to go to med school but I don't have the money.

I Have done a fair bit of reading into FIFO in AUS, and a former teammate of mine is a dump truck driver, but I have noticed the job that is always hiring is drillers offsider. I understand that this job is certainly not for the faint of heart.

For context, I am 5'8, 85kg and am a Division 1 athlete in the US (which is a fancy way of saying I have had no life outside of school, sport and work for the best part of the last decade).

I plan on getting a class 2 license (NZ equivalent of HR) when I go home, and hopefully get stuck into some laboring jobs whilst I apply/ wait for a traineeship, as well as hitting the weights harder than I have been. If I make it, I plan on going on to be a driller and work in the industry ~5 years.

All that being said, please let me know if you think I could pull my weight as a drillers offsider. Be honest, I'm open to any and all feedback.

Cheers

Edit: Thank you all for the feedback! I seriously appreciate it.
