Reckless Ben Update: BAM moves forward with lawsuit against Mansell family as the Utah Court grant's BAM's request to serve the Mansells and Reckless Ben via email.

Relatedly, it appears that the the Court has set a hearing on the pending TRO / Preliminary Injunction for June 30.

BAM along with the Mcneff and Brimhall families (who run Corporate) filed for a new LLC in Oregon at the address of the BAM store in Eugene run by Brandon and Josh.

Yesterday, Bricks and Minifigs Corporate along with the Mcneff and Brimhall families (who run Corporate) filed for a new LLC in Oregon at the address of the BAM store in Eugene run by Brandon and Josh.

This is a legal tactic: an LLC that dissolves cannot be the target of discovery to ascertain what the LLC did with the Mansell Collection. This is a circle the wagons move from the founders of “Legally Mine LLC”

Let's not be stupid, some franchises deserve it too !

if i was a franchise for BAM i will make my self clear and i will not do what some of those guys are doing, even if it's the hard way it's the only way ! becuase think about it.

They have only two options now:

1- Let BAM Corp handle it and side with them-and you can clearly see how amazingly that approach is working for them.

2- Band together and pressure Corp to ensure the problem is solved outside the court.

This is the only way to save their asses. Even assuming BAM wins every case in court, I assure you that the franchisees will suffer and Corp will be the only real winner in the end. Do you honestly think BAM cares that you're a franchisee? I assure you, they don't.

and if you can disassociate with them or do your own thing this is even better, but most of the franchises are in deep and i heared someone that he needs 600k cash if he wants out.

wdyt?

LexiSearch: a fast, fuzzy-search dictionary for your terminal

I built this because I got tired of leaving my terminal to look up words.

LexiSearch is a TUI dictionary with fuzzy matching. You can misspell almost anything and it'll still find the right word. Works offline, loads instantly, no browser needed.

pip install lexisearch

Then just run lexisearch and start typing.

Features worth mentioning:

  • ~176,000 words with definitions (1913 Webster's)
  • Fuzzy search via RapidFuzz – handles typos gracefully
  • Instant load time (milliseconds)
  • Arrow keys to navigate, Q to quit
  • Lives entirely in the terminal

repos and more:
GitHub → https://github.com/ayoubelouardi/LexiSearch
PyPI → https://pypi.org/project/lexisearch/

Why I'm posting this:

The tool is solid and usable right now. But I'd like to make it better. If you're interested in contributing – better search scoring, additional wordlists, a thesaurus mode, whatever you think fits – you're welcome. It's MIT licensed. Open an issue or just send a PR.

Also if you try it and find a bug, let me know. Direct feedback is useful feedback.

Thanks for reading.
