i think i found a baby roman snail in the woods. thoughts?

yes, he's pooping. sorry 😂

edit: google says it's either cornu aspersum or helix pomatia, and since we don't have cornu aspersums here I'm thinking it's the latter. I named him Armageddon <3

false alarm. Darko's radula is just fine

guys I'm so embarrassed to admit it but i guess i got overwhelmed yesterday (damn you, anxiety disorder!!!) when I watched Darko eat a dandelion leaf. I thought his radula was weak but as we can see he's biting and biting pretty well 😅 last time he was probably just licking the water droplets off. I'm just glad my baby is okay, it's all that matters ❤️

sad realisation: Darko's radula is too weak

i was watching him closely for a few days ever since I found him, and I was wondering why wasn't he eating as much as Button. now, he was trying to eat a dandelion leaf for like 5 minutes but he couldn't bite into it :( i think I'll have to feed him purées from now on. any more advice on what i should give gim?

thoughts about this "souvenir"?

imo it's very disturbing and may teach kids wrong about snail's anatomy. those are eyes! and also, why would a frog NEED to ride a snail in the first place?

edit: it would've been cuter if they removed the rope part. it would've looked like two besties just having fun instead
