Eco mode - auto is dangerous

Just starting riding the bike , I thought I’d learn the bike “feel it out” eco and auto would be safe , one word dangerous

I approach a stop bike turns into ev I pull off absolutely zero power until 15 mph , so first off joining a road is gutless . That’s the first problem

So you throttle it so your not wiped out and at 15mph the bike turns into petrol but as this point the throttle is quite far and then the bike goes ape shit jumping revs and speeding up a lot

I understand there’s probably a smooth technique to this but wow the first ride was an experience .

Is this just my bike or is this normal behaviour ?
