I feel like I left a cult

And my church wasn't extreme by Orthodox standards at all. I had this realization today going to a Protestant church. The church I went to today was fine, but I felt such crippling guilt not being at an Orthodox church. Of course, the whole experience is different from what I've become accustomed to: The fact I waited for permission from someone to drink the coffee they had in the hallway outside of the sanctuary. The fact that I had no idea who the pastor was at first because he looked like a normal person and people weren't lining up to kiss his ring and treat him like a feudal lord. Kids actually having age appropriate lessons during the main sermon.

I'm not even 100% sure if I'll make this church my new home or not. Did anyone else experience this guilt? How long does it take to go away?
