Like many, I dismissed this band at the time as a one-trick pony, with that one trick being a Michael Jackson cover (which was pretty dope, but not enough to motivate me to do any real exploration). Spotify recently fed me "Movies" as part of a playlist, which has led me to dig further into the catalog. I am finding a lot more to dig in here than I anticipated.

I am not saying that AAF sounds exactly like FNM or anything crazy like that, but it seems like FNM is in the mix of AAF's influences. Anyone agree/disagree?

I was perusing the Player's Guide again this morning, and I would really like to run something there. Lately, I have been running Tales of the Valiant, with the option to use 2014 5e for character building and receive a few bonus attribute points to compensate for ToV power creep. I am wondering whether PCs made using Valikan Clans rules would need that kind of a boost to keep up with ToV characters. With the "build your own racial bonus package" thing that they have going on and the classes with martial maneuvers, it seems like Valikan Clans PCs would have a leg up on most other 5e characters. Has anyone run them alongside other characters (or just on their own) and noticed anything in this regard? Please advise. Many thanks.
