I'm currently running 44t / 11-42 1x on my Aspero. The ONLY thing that's a bit lacking is top end (in the rare cases I get to cut above 40mph). I don't mind climbing with these ratios at all. up to 12% gravel (Granted my engine can't handle it for long.).
Anyway. I want one of those sweet Wolftooth aero chainrings. Purely for aesthetics. But the smallest chainring is 46t. Would it be noticeably harder on climbs?
This is the craziest one yet. Each time it’s scary. But I love descending. It’s my favorite part haha.
I assumed it was the clutch being off. So I’ve started leaving it on. This was with the clutch on.
Is it possible that the chain needs a link removed? Is this common for GRX group sets? I thought it was supposed to be impossible to drop a chain with 1x
For reference it only ever happens when I’m doing 40mph+ after I’ve spun out and stop pedaling abruptly after cadence being 120+.
