When half the squad hates you for nonsense reasons and now you've mentally checked out of the save

Story time

  • Winger wants new contract, he starts a lot so I say that's fine. Agent demands he's a star player on double the wage of anyone else, so contract talks break down.
  • Player is unhappy I broke my promise of a new deal, even though it'sthe agent's fault. I restart talks but same thing happens. Player unhappy again and requests transfer. Rest of squad unhappy I'm trying to sell a regular starter, I promise to invest in that position.
  • Nobody makes an offer for him except a club he explicitly doesn't want to join, so he stays and I don't sign the replacement I had lined up.
  • Deadline passes, he's unhappy I broke promise to sell him. Squad is unhappy I broke promise to reinvest.

I'm so annoyed by this I am basically done with the save. The club has its first major final in a few weeks and I don't care
