Democratic Socialists of America + entryism?

If the RCI's former orgs were willing to be entryist in the British Labour Party (as Militant) or even target followers of Bernie Sanders (i. e., DSA* members), why are we now opposed to entering the DSA as our own caucus as it increasingly radicalizes? (Is this because the American section of International Socialist Alternative already tried this?) Much thanks in advance.

*DSA = Democratic Socialists of America, a multi-tendency but mostly reformist/social-democratic organization in the United States

Why do conservative influencers waste so much time attacking liberalism (or sometimes nothing at all) when they could be targeting socialist policies and substituting their own?

Like Fox News has gone from having some affection for centrist Democrats as of late to simply calling them all "communist." And when they list DSA's policies, it's broadly popular things like free healthcare that even some of their base wanted from Trump 🤔. I'm not sure why they never built a "welfare chauvinist" state for favored in-groups and defuse part of the class struggle, so they won't be at risk of an escalating class war.

(Side note: Even my conservative mother and friends have far more class consciousness now, likely due to all being working-class... my reactionary father has strangely become more aware of a struggle against the "mob" of underclass, but sadly he's a struggling petty bourgeois who sides with tech oligarchs.)
