I feel like such a sausage. I hiked up Ingleborough, with 14kg strapped to my back, ready for a night of star gazing. Got up there a bit early… 13:00approx. Thought ill plod over to whernside . Tried to descend but the people coming up were hand to rock all the way up so I decided to walk along scuttle house Moore with the plans to find a spot. Couldn’t find anywhere. Ended up coming down and walking back to ingleton. Felt really deflated. Just as well I did however as I woke with ice on my tent, and my sleeping bag is rated to 4 degrees. So was a tad chilly.

Did all the miles with extra weight for nothing 😭
