My sister has received her Irish tourist visa to visit me in Dublin. additionally she has applied for her Schengen visa via Zurich to visit our cousin and her family. However she received a visa refusal mail yesterday, stating that
The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions for the intended stay was not reliable*

She is a business owner in Bangalore, and has clearly stated that in her CL to ensure her ties to India are covered. She used the same CL format she used for ireland to apply to Switzerland as well. But unfortunately it was not deemed enough. We have provided invitation letter from our cousin and her husband as well other documentation’s. The VFS lady at the counter returned her business bank statements. I wonder if that played a part.

As her travel date is very near, we don’t have time for an appeal, would it better to do a new application.

Has anyone faced a similar issue and what did you do??? Please help
