I’ve recently been referred to care fertility, can anybody share their experiences with these? Particularly as NHS patients? I have been told my referral will be reviewed by a consultant and then they can decide what tests need to be completed. How long was you waiting to hear back from a consultant?

Hi, I’m currently on the waiting list for fertility treatment through the Jessops. I am 25 and have PCOS. I was referred by my gp in November 2025. Has anybody been through this and can give me any information on what’s to come?
I had a telephone appointment in April with the nurse, I was referred for HSG and ultrasound which I had done at the end of April but I’m still waiting for results. Is there a rough time frame anybody was waiting for a follow up? When you did see a consultant what was the processes etc? Thanks!
