How to get face off Toys R Us display

My son bought these two Toys R Us displays from Marketplace and we are having trouble fitting them through the door to the basement. All of our troubles would be fixed if we could remove the face, but it appears it is screwed in to fiberglass and from what Google told us, it’s risky to remove the screws (if we even can) as it might crack and damage the fiberglass. Does anyone have experience removing something like this? I really don’t want these to live in my dining room!
