Per Friday’s email, “ Out of an abundance of caution, and to support the completion of inspection activities, employees should work remotely for the time being. Additional updates regarding the remote work arrangement will be provided following completion of the inspection for the entire building and after management has had an opportunity to review the findings and recommendations provided by the licensed pest control professionals.”

I live 150 miles from my department headquarters and was hired during Covid. When I was hired the department was aware of my residence and that I could not work in the office due to my location. I have a mileage exemption. With the RTO mandate can the department void the exemption which would require me to relocate to keep my job?

Anyone at CDE have insight on what this will look like come January? So many vacancies and reorgs at CDE - now this. Are any classifications protected from the 4-day RTO?
