Hi! I’ve been puzzling over a newt I found whilst volunteering when I was moving heaps of dirt. My supervisor told me we had to stop immediately because the newt was protected and rare, but she didn’t know which it was. The newt was smooth skinned, orange bellied and without any spots, about 10-15cm if I had to guess. If anyone has any ideas, I would be super grateful!
