So I’ve *been* offered admission at UMBC, and I’m about to go this fall. The problem is that I applied/enrolled as a freshman, yet I did take accumulate a few credits at a community college (granted, I did take dual enroll classes in my senior year of high school, and the amount of credits wouldn’t even be enough to make a full year since I went part-time), and I don’t know if I should notify the admissions people and come clean.

The primary reason I applied as a freshman was due to a college/application mentor advising me to do so to earn merit scholarship money, but something about this decision feels deceptive.

I’m scared that if I come clean, my admission might be affected, though. I just don’t know what to do.
