The Goal
I am planning a custom gas forge build and want to get a solid design critique on my insulation layout and burner configuration before drop the cash to make it. and burner placement a or b

Shell & Structural Specs

  • Outer Shell: 12" x 12" x 12" cube box. inside will 6x8x12 with fire brick
  • Material: 11-gauge steel.
  • Openings:  front/back pass-through door

Insulation & Interior Layout

  • Primary Insulation: 2 inches of Kaowool.
  • Interior Floor: hard fire bricks castable refractory Satanite over the wool].

Burner Configuration

  • Type: Forced-air burner setup.
  • Number of Burners: 1-burner setup.
  • Air Supply: 100 CFM blower
  • Gas Control: needle valve
