This is a CMP rifle with a CMP stock. This rifle is new to me so I am unsure of what grade it is. I would hazard a guess that its expert or special grade since the receiver and internals are reparkerized and the barrel is from 2008. Anyway does this stock need to be oiled? This is my first M1 and I do not know how to care for the stock. Any input is appreciated.
