IN KEN WE TRUST
Made a post a couple of days ago saying that I hadn’t passed a single practice exam going into the real test. The only exam I passed was Ken’s practice exam.
By the grace of God, and honestly maybe a little luck, I was able to pass the Series 7 on my first try without passing a single Kaplan or STC practice exam. I also passed my SIE on the first try.
Maybe I was overthinking the practice exams, but I genuinely struggled to fully understand some of the material with Kaplan and STC. I have to thank Ken for his videos. I also bought his options course, and it gave me by far the best understanding of options going into the exam. It helped me feel comfortable enough to work through the questions and know what I was looking for.
I will say that some of the option strategies on the actual exam felt a little more difficult than the ones on his practice exam. But if you understand the concepts he teaches, you can reason your way through the questions and figure out the right answer.
Best of luck to everyone studying for this exam. Keep going and don’t let your practice scores convince you that you can’t pass.
I’M TRULY AN EXAMPLE. I DIDN’T PASS A SINGLE PRACTICE EXAM AND STILL PASSED THE REAL EXAM ON MY FIRST TRY. IF I COULD DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT.
