Do you save a series for the weekend or watch one episode every night?

I am terrible at the middle option.

If I start a show on a weeknight, I either watch ten minutes and fall asleep or keep going far later than planned. Saving the whole thing for Saturday sounds healthier, but then the series turns into homework I have been avoiding.

What viewing schedule actually works for you?

Fixed TV budget: what would you refuse to compromise on?

Assume the budget cannot move. Something has to give.

Would you take a smaller screen for better picture quality, accept weaker built-in sound, give up some gaming features, or choose a less expensive brand to protect the size?

I am trying to make a priority list before looking at models because every review seems to add another thing I am supposed to care about. What is the one compromise you would not make?

My family agrees on the TV budget and nothing else

We finally agreed on how much to spend. That somehow made the argument worse.

One person wants the biggest screen possible. Someone else would rather pay for better movie picture quality. I care about sports and gaming, while my parents mostly want something simple that looks good with regular streaming.

Instead of comparing ten TVs, I am trying to get everyone to pick the one thing they would refuse to compromise on. If your household had the same budget, where would the money go first?

What did you forget to measure before your 100-inch TV arrived?

The wall is wide enough. That was the easy measurement.

Now I am realizing the TV also has to make it through the building entrance, fit in the elevator, clear a hallway turn, and land on a stand that can actually support it. The shipping box may be the bigger problem than the screen itself.

I am looking at a 100-inch TV, but I would rather find the stupid logistical problem now than on delivery day. What measurement or setup detail do people most often forget?

Is the Hisense U7SG still the sweet spot for a midrange 75-inch TV?

I am looking for a 75-inch TV without drifting into flagship pricing.

The room gets a decent amount of daylight, and the TV would be used for streaming, weekend sports, and a PS5. I do not need perfect dark-room movie performance, but I also do not want motion or daytime viewing to be the obvious weak point.

The U7SG keeps coming up because it seems to sit in that middle ground between cheaper large screens and much more expensive premium models. I am less interested in the longest feature list than whether it is actually a balanced choice at this size.

Anyone shopping in the same range find a better all-around option?
