First Vise for Home Workshop

Hello everyone! This is my 1st post to the group, and this is my 1st vise. I picked it up yesterday along some other tools, and I was curious if someone would have some information about this vise? I know it's a Wilton, but I don't know much else about it.

New to me Smithey pans!

I got a good deal on a used Chef 10 and 12 skillet. I cleaned them and have 3 coats of grapeseed oil. I can't wait to start cooking on these! Some before and after photos. The Chef 10 is looking good. I'm trying to even out the seasoning on the exterior of the 12.

Dressed Hammer - 1st time

Hammer is now dressed! I started with a file, then worked my way from 60 to 600 grit sandpaper. I think it came out alright!

My dad gifted me a piece of an 8x8 treated beam (about 5 ft. in length). It looks like it may work as an anvil stand, but the width at the base of my anvil is slightly wider than 8' inches. Would this work, or should I find an 10x10 beam or make something else?

I'm also trying to decide whether or not to keep the length, and find a place to setup a workshop where I can bury the bottom into the ground like a stump, or to cut the beam and make something that is more mobile.
