As in caption, I'm wondering what will happen with my save. Will I get the things from the upgrade right away? It'll be like a rollback of my save?

I honestly don't know what to do, I'm urging to play the game cause' of the hype but I'm afraid that my save will be deleted or something like that. Did Nintendo said something about this?

Like I said on the caption, I don't know if I should wait till the upgrade to play the game or rush it to begin the upgraded version with all the unlockables from the NG+, please help.

EDIT: I've already finished the game once, years ago, should've clarified that.
