Could you please help me identify what kind of plant this is?

I need to know what kind of plant this is so I can figure out the best place for it. If it's an indoor plant, I'll keep it inside my house, near a window, but doesn't get direct sunlight. If it's an outdoor plant, I'll place it where it can receive direct sunlight. For now, I'll keep it outside in a spot that gets some direct sunlight, but not too much, just to be safe. Thank you in advance!

Kindly need your advice

What's happening with my Medussa's Head Cactus? (Pardon me if I'm wrong, but I was told that's what's it is called). I got this plant for a week now and at the beggining, all its arms are green. Today, about half of the arms (especially the ones at the bottom) are turning yellow and getting softer too.

For context: The soil mix is 70% succulent soil and 30% pumice. The plastic pot has many holes at the bottom for drainage. I haven't watered it since repotting a week ago. Currently, the soil is not wet but it is not super dry either. It feels slighty moist? The position of this plant does not get direct sunlight but it is in a very bright area with many windows and openings. The room temp is also warm from morning to afternoon.

Is it not getting enough sunlight? Is it root rot? Can someone tell me how to help this plant? Thank you in advance!
