Planning an Andaman trip around June end / early July and need some real advice from people who have actually been there during monsoon.
We are a family of 4 adults planning a vacation. We are okay with some rain, but don’t want the trip ruined because of weather/ferry cancellations.
Need honest feedback:
What activities are realistically possible during this period?
Scuba diving?
Snorkelling?
Sea walking?
Kayaking?
Island hopping (Havelock/Neil etc)?
Beaches/swimming?
How bad is the weather usually around June end and July starting?
Is it mostly short showers + sunshine or continuous rain?
How often do ferries get cancelled?
Budget idea:
What should be a realistic budget for 4 adults for a comfortable trip?
Hotels (mid-range/premium)
Food
Local transport
Activities
Ferry tickets
Suggestions:
Which islands are worth staying at during monsoon?
Better to stay in Port Blair + day trips or spend nights at Havelock/Neil?
Any must-do experiences?
Any mistakes to avoid while booking?
