Parent pushing their child hard at parkrun
I overtook a man running with his daughter today. It was at the 3k mark. She was about 11 years old and struggling for breath and practically in tears. I asked if she was ok and he said she's fine she just needs to get used to it.
He kept telling her to keep going etc
It was really hot out there today and I was by the funnel when they came in and she was wheezing. I said well done to her and he just said she slowed him down.
Can't stand pushy parents at parkrun. If I see him doing that again I'll push him in the stinging nettles.
