Hello everyone,

Today, I compared the same LV travel bag from 4 different factories using detailed photos and in-hand references to highlight the differences in materials, construction, hardware, and overall retail accuracy when viewed together.

After comparing all four batches, here were my impressions.

The GOD batch was the strongest overall in terms of retail accuracy. The Monogram canvas had the most convincing finish and texture, especially in the way the surface reflected light without looking overly glossy. The leather trim also felt closer to the original in thickness and structure, giving the bag a more refined shape. The stitching was consistent throughout, particularly around the edge alignment and panel construction, where the shape remained clean and balanced. The hardware looked well-finished and appropriately weighted without appearing overly bright or cheap.

Dutyfree was probably the next closest batch. The main difference for me was the leather, though it's difficult to fully capture that in photos. When held side by side, the leather felt noticeably different compared to the GOD, lacking some of the same depth and suppleness, even though they looked relatively similar in photos. The hardware was also slightly more reflective than the retail version under direct lighting. Another detail I noticed was the leather tab holding the inner ring. Its shape differed slightly from the retail version and the GOD version when compared directly.

The CC batch started to fall behind more noticeably in terms of construction details. Some stitching lines looked less consistent, especially around curved sections and edge transitions, where the symmetry was uneven in certain areas. The CC batch's structure looked less clean overall and slightly distorted in places. From a casual distance, it wasn't terrible, but the finishing differences became much easier to notice when compared directly.

The HH batch was clearly more budget-oriented compared to the others. The material finish appeared flatter and more matte, lacking the richer texture and depth seen in the higher-tier batches. One noticeable issue was the heat stamping on the LV logo, which differed from retail in terms of font, sizing, and spacing. The hardware also felt lighter and less refined. The general shape was acceptable for the price range. However, next to the other factories, the differences in material quality and finishing were fairly obvious.

Overall, it was much easier to notice the factory differences when comparing the same model side-by-side than when looking at standalone QC photos. Some details appeared differently in person than in photos, especially the texture and feel of the leather, which cameras don't always capture accurately. At the same time, the price points of the four batches generally reflect the quality of the materials, accuracy, and finishing offered. Buyers could make make decisions based on their budgets and priorities.
