About the flow discourse

On most rap songs the beat stays relatively static with maybe a few slight changes or a switch after a bit, and the vocals are the point of emphasis with more fluidity.

For the vast majority of songs on this album, Peggy is clearly, intentionally, doing the inverse, making his rapping the consistent thing and letting the beat, the point of emphasis, change. You don’t have to like it, in fact I do think there are some songs where he should have put more emphasis on his vocal performance, but to act like this is not a deliberate choice and that Peggy simply forgot how to rap with a different flow is insane.

I highly doubt that this approach to song construction is permanent, because when has anything he’s ever done been? Here’s to next album being a lyrically dense, vocal-centric masterpiece. If he wants it to be. But the constant bitching about this is getting old, man. It’s literally called Experimental Rap, he’s not going to be treating the rapping on Experimental Rap the same as on the hit album Normal Rap Songs.
