being squeamish

hi everyone! i’m going to be starting my nursing journey here soon and beginning all me prerequisites and gen ed classes. i am slightly nervous to actually go into nursing because i am slightly squeamish. i can handle needles and blood and stuff like that, but im talking more of the super gorey or messy stuff. i am wanting to be a behavioral health nurse, so i know some messed up stuff is inevitable, i was just hoping for tips on how i can get over my fear, what to expect, or if i should just go into a different field all together. i also do want to point out that i am not terribly squeamish, but am definitely somewhat sensitive.

How to lose weight without getting “skinny”

Hi guys! I’m interested in started some form of weight loss/health journey, I am currently a 202 lb 5’3 woman. I am wanting to lose some weight/tone out but i am not interested in getting “skinny” as i appreciate my general figure and curves. A few years ago, i was 175 lbs but somewhat toned, and i still kept the softness and figure i love about myself. I wasn’t particularly working out (at least not purposely), so I was wanting to know pointers on how to lose weight/tone and get back to that physique out without losing too much or just with keeping a softer form without too much muscle. Thank you in advance!

Less stressful nursing jobs

Hi everyone! I’m 19 and searching for a good career after graduating cosmetology school and realizing it wasn’t for me. I’ve always been interested in nursing, but am scared of the stress and also workload. I don’t do very well under extremely high stress (emphasis on extremely high) but am quite decent under pressure and stressful situations. I know being an ER nurse would not be good for me, but i was looking for some more input from you all on less stressful nursing jobs. I know they all come with their own unique stress, but i’m curious to know your opinions. TIYA!

Career options for someone with no real passion for a job?

Hi everyone, i’m 19 years old and just graduated cosmetology school. I realized i’m not super passionate about doing hair or anything else and am not very interested in a career in hair or beauty. I recently quit my serving job and have been looking for a good full time job that makes decent money, and maybe later pursuing another education. I’m really open to anything, I like to look at myself as a blank slate because of my lack of interest in jobs, so I am really open to anything. I would very much appreciate advice for jobs i can start right now, and careers i can perhaps pursue higher education for? TYIA
