Hi, I think I know the answer as what our party wall neighbour is proposing is within regs (single storey 6m out and max 3m high with a flat roof) but it will block some sun/light on our terrace/garden. I don’t want to object as (a) everyone has a right to improve their property with legal limits and (b) they are very nice people but even if we did my understanding is that it wouldn’t make much difference anyway. Has anyone been in this or similar position? I will of course take plenty of photos of party wall, current fence boundaries etc in case of issues later on. Thanks.
