One of two mountain ranges in the lower 48 that runs east to west instead of north to south. High altitude lakes everywhere, filled with eager trout. Only accessible for a few months out of the year when the snow melts. One of my favorite places in the world.

First three are the same fish, had some serious shoulders and definitely one of the heaviest trout I’ve landed. All the others are different fish, then the river, and the fly shop that made it happen, IFYKYK.
