Worth it as rising Junior?

So I kind of found out about this really late as in me going to junior year. I started studying 2 weeks ago with the USACO guide and I think I’ll be able to finish bronze and silver by January and maybe I can try for gold. But I don’t know how much time that will. Does anyone have any rough estimates on how much time per week it would take and sources that would help. I really wanted to get platinum due to me wanting to do early admission so I won’t be able to get next year in time for collage, but I think gold for this year is the max I can get.

Recommendations for Summer

I sadly did not get into any summer programs and as a rising junior going into comp sci/business, does anyone have any recommendations on future programs, or how to get internships or projects to work with. Does cold emailing work and is it still possible now? Right now I’m looking for a job and studying for AMC, USACCO, etc but I’m trying to find something like an internship or position to work at.

Ok, Everyone is saying easy DBQ but did anyone have some DBQ about the patronage of learning impacting the justify of rule of the Islamic world. Like what is that bro I didn’t know what patronage of learning was or how it helped justify their rule and documents weren’t related much to justifying rule. I wrote some bullshit so hopefully it’s alright but like atleast everything else was easy.

Before you go deeper, know there is going to be spoiler of ending.

So I just finished “Things fall apart” and honestly, the book was alright. Like it was kind of boring but I understand the books main premise is to get the reader to understand the culture of these tribes and their daily activities even if it might not align with our social customs(multiple wife’s, abuse). I’m completely fine with that point but I have a problem with the ending.

Literally like a few pages I think or a chapter before the end of book, he says all these things like no matter what he is going to fight the white men. He says even if his tribe don’t back him up he will go alone on a rampage to get revenge. >!But then the ending comes and he realizes his village is not ready to fight so he just hangs himself??? Like you literally said you will fight alone if you have to but then you just kill yourself when you realize you ARE alone. !<

I would have been completely fine with an ending where he takes the fight to the white men but gets immediately shot down because that shows no matter how much spirit they had, the white men and their technology were too powerful and shut them down but that ending???
