Knew pain on nordic hamstring curls

Hi, I'm pretty experienced in bodybuilding (+10 years), 6'1 for 190 ibs.

Recently I've introduced NHC in my program. Still unable to do it completely without elastic bands or a small pushup help.

I feel the biggest obstacle is not necessarily hamstring power but a pain inside the knees, like an instability, especially around 30-45°. The pain don't really last after and I've never had any trauma. When I've done a few sets, the pain diminishes and I can manage 1 or 2 full reps without assistance.

Has someone been in the situation? Do you have any tips appart from isometric training around 30-45° and a lot of help from elastic bands?
