I work at an airport and have flown 100+ times. Since Covid, I’ve seen a rapid decline in the quality of U.S. based flight attendants, specifically regional, short route flight attendants. Most of them these days are just mean and rude. They’re rude when dealing with airport staff, rude if they are asked a simple question, rude when speaking to pretty much everyone, talk to people like they are three years old and then turn around and complain about guests. I get it, people can be dumb when flying and I’m sure burnout and crazy schedules may be a factor, but damn, you’re a waitress of the sky. Chill out and be kind.
