Been on an intarsia kick lately. I used a maple burl dyed blue with resin, Wenge, Walnut, and Aspen for the rest. Originally I was going to paint the blue pieces, but really love the marbled look of the resin/wood burl combo on this piece.

Approximately 10" X 12" made from Spanish Cedar, Maple, yellowheart, and Wenge. I also used a V gouge chisel to create a fur like texture on the piece.

This measures approximately 8" X 10" made from different hardwoods: Walnut, lakewood, yellowheart, cherry, sycamore, wenge, Maple, Jacota, and cedar.
