Has anyone ever felt EVERY movement of food inside their stomach? It's ruining my life.

Hi everyone,

I've been dealing with a very strange stomach problem for more than a year, and I'm hoping to find someone who has experienced something similar.

Last year, I underwent an upper endoscopy with multiple biopsies. The diagnosis was reactive pangastritis, and I tested negative for H. pylori.

The strange thing is that my biggest problem isn't heartburn or stomach pain.

My biggest problem is that I constantly feel almost every movement happening inside my stomach.

Whenever I walk, drive a car, ride a motorcycle, or even move around normally, I can physically feel the food moving inside my stomach with every movement of my body. Sometimes it feels like the food is sloshing around, almost as if there's a bottle full of liquid inside me. I also feel many of my stomach contractions and digestive movements throughout the day.

This symptom has become so severe that I rarely travel anymore. I avoid long car rides, buses, and motorcycles because every movement makes me feel what's happening inside my stomach. It has had a huge impact on my quality of life.

Besides that, I also experience:

  • Severe bloating (my abdomen often looks swollen even though I'm not overweight)
  • Excessive stomach noises and gurgling (borborygmi)
  • A constant feeling that my digestion is very slow

Over the past year, I have tried many different treatments, including:

  • PPIs (Pantoprazole and Esomeprazole)
  • Prokinetic medication
  • Several probiotics
  • Ginger

One probiotic seemed to help for a short period, but unfortunately the improvement didn't last, and my symptoms returned.

Recently, I had another abdominal ultrasound. The report mentioned:

  • Gastric stasis
  • Diffuse aero-colic stasis

Because of these findings, my doctor prescribed a course of antibiotics together with PPIs, believing that an intestinal infection or parasites might be contributing to my symptoms.

I have now completed the antibiotic treatment. So far, I've only noticed a very slight improvement, but my main symptom is still there.

I'm not asking anyone here to diagnose me.

I'm simply wondering:

Has anyone ever experienced this constant sensation of feeling food moving inside the stomach?

If you have:

  • What condition did you eventually discover you had?
  • Which tests finally gave you answers?
  • Most importantly, what treatment helped reduce this strange sensation?

Even if your diagnosis wasn't gastritis, I'd really appreciate hearing your story.

After more than a year of living like this, I honestly feel like I'm the only person in the world experiencing this symptom.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post. Any advice or shared experience would mean a lot to me.
