Finished library of ruina and realized i didnt truly understand it
Well, I recently finished Library of Ruina, and when I did, I was left with a really strange feeling. Because of that, I started rereading the receptions and the books to understand everything better.
While doing that, I realized that I actually didn’t understand as much as I thought I did. Most of the time, I played the game expecting it to be the kind of story that directly explains the context and motivations behind everything.
But after rereading things, I realized that the way the game is written is very different. It gives you just enough context for you to interpret the characters and events yourself instead of outright explaining them to you. Once I understood that, that strange feeling I had after finishing the game slowly disappeared, and honestly, it made me appreciate both the game and Project Moon’s storytelling even more.
That said, I’m still struggling to fully understand characters like Carmen, Angela, Argalia, and the Ensemble. So I wanted to ask: how yall interpret them and their motivations?
