Hi, I am sitting the SQE2 in October and I am stressing a bit with the drafting cause I am still not sure what can they ask us to draft. Can you please share a list and examples of drafts, if you have! That would be extremely appreciated!
Does anyone have a list of the changes in law? I know SRA changed the spec a little, but I am pretty sure there were some changes for criminal practice, and wills, but would not know where to look at
Hi, this might be a bit of an early call but I think I passed the SQE1. (God I hope I am not wrong). I have been struggling to put myself together and prepare for SQE2 and my issue is, I do not have the slightest idea of how this exam will look like, and I cannot find anything or anyone to help me out to put this into perspective as right now I am really lost.
SQE 1 was all about MCQs, but SQE2 is all over the place and I don’t know what could be potential possibilities for exam and how would you actually tackle the exams.
I understand that there is Advocacy and Client interview in the oral part, but will you have both DR and Criminal for advocacy? And both wills and property for client interview? Or is it just one? I am so lost.
In terms of writing, I have the same issue, I do not understand what can legal drafting mean for wills for example. Is it simply drafting a will/codicil?
For case and matter analysis, do you need to actually know case names or are the rules enough?
I have so many questions. I do not need to know about what other had as exams, I just feel stuck in terms of understanding the main structure and I am panicking.
Can someone help me understand?
For those saying the qs were repeated in the flk1, can you confirm if the question was exactly the same or if it was simply extremely similar? As I had 2-3 qs that were close but I have not seen ANY of the questions from the sample paper. Just curious if they actually keep those in the same question bank as the ones in the exam
Just out of curiosity, did you find that the materials were enough?
It seems to me that my knowledge is wrong as per the past 3 providers that proposed questions in this area.
My understanding was as follows: primary victim MUST BE AT THE LOCATION OF THE EVENT + must fear for their own safety, at the time someone else is injured (a and b are in a car accident, b only suffers psychiatric harm, so b would be a primary victim)
A secondary victim is when you fear for someone else, and you need close ties and affection to them, and also to be able to see the immediate aftermath.
How in the world did they combine both of these, and manage to say that this is primary, is my knowledge wrong?

Hi, just a quick one, for the girls who say the exam. If you are a boy, just scroll ;) I know you are only allowed with earbuds inside the exam room, but what do you do if you are on your period. Unfortunately, I will need to change at least 1 time within those 2:33hrs, as there is a high risk of staining. Can I bring tampons or pads with me? Do they check them (I would mind if the pad was opened and touched by security people or idk)
Is there a policy on that?

My books say that if there is a non commercial relation, there is an implied JT Unless contrary is shown.
Nothing has been shown yet (no claim so that proof will be requested). So the default position from a person checking the title for instance should be JT, right? Hmlr will presume that if the panel is not ticked? Or am I going mad?

The same process is repeated for urgent applications in which step 2 is skipped but it is stated that if something else arises, you can apply to mc after cc if a change of circumstances
Hi. I am doing the pretested SRA qs and I cannot understand why is it D here. I have had questions from other providers where the retailer was wrong. I have checked the statute, and it does not seem like the list includes retailers. My choice would have been manufacturer and importer (but it was not even there). I also know that a retailer would be responsible if they cannot provide you details about the actual manufacturer.
Is my brain fried? Please help
