Do teachers actually want more education tools?

Something I've been wondering about lately.

It feels like every year there’s another platform that’s supposed to make teaching easier — one for assignments, one for communication, one for assessments, another for resources…

But at some point, does having more tools actually make things harder?

For teachers here:

What’s something you still find unnecessarily time-consuming in your day-to-day work?

Could be something small — keeping track of assignments, finding good resources, answering the same doubts repeatedly, planning classes, checking work, communicating with students, anything.

And if there was a tool that genuinely solved one of those problems well, what would you want it to do?

Not looking for recommendations — just curious about what teachers actually struggle with.

What’s one thing you wish your college/school actually did better?

Random question, but I’ve been thinking about this lately.

There are so many apps and platforms for classes, assignments, attendance, notes, etc., but sometimes it still feels like students and teachers are using 5 different things just to get through one semester.

So I’m curious:

  1. What’s the most annoying part of studying/teaching online?

  2. What do you wish was easier?

  3. Is it actually the technology that’s the problem, or just how everything is organised?

It would be interesting to hear what other students and teachers think.
