Looking advice for dedicated server in netherlands, do you have any recommendations perhaps?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently looking to rent a dedicated server based in the Netherlands. I should preface this by saying I'm just a regular user. I'm not a hardcore systems administrator or network guru. I just need a reliable server that runs smoothly without me having to micromanage the hardware. I don't even know what the different of managed dedicated server or unmanaged dedicated server.
I did some surveying and looked at the big names like Leaseweb, Netrouting, OVHcloud, and Openprovider. While their prices are tempting, I get the feeling that their customer support is very "do-it-yourself," which makes me a bit nervous if things go wrong.
From a normal user's perspective, they caught my eye because they seem a lot more approachable. They give off a "boutique" vibe where it feels like you can actually get a hold of a real human if the server goes down, rather than waiting days for an automated ticket response from a giant corporation.
Before I make a final decision, I would love to hear from people here.
Any honest opinions, expert people in this area or shared experiences would be incredibly helpful for me.
