Pooja Meri Jaan and damn... every Indian girl has met a Romeo and toxic hypeman

It is a one time watch, but a good one. Better to explain this movie as "Consequences of having soft boundaries"

Pooja is ambitious and just trying to build her life, but like so many women, she tries to handle awkward situations politely and quietly in private without making a scene.

>!The tragic part is seeing how that politeness gets completely twisted into hope by a guy who thinks he’s playing the ultimate "provider", the Romeo and entitled to take loans for an unsolicited support, beyond his means. !<

Remember the 370 is biryani episode. yes, so this Romeo is a bit sophisticated than that, but treat love like a transaction where putting in effort means he owed a response which is as per his favorable terms.

>!What makes it even worse is!< the enabler friend / the hype man >!who constantly fuels his delusions instead of giving him a simple reality check, and that silent look of regret on the mother’s face at the end when everything falls apart.!<

Almost every girl can relate to this. Guys who won't stop messaging in your DMs until they get blocked, to people who refuse to take a hint until a huge mess happens.

If you’ve ever been confused about boundaries, this movie is a must-watch.

No comes in many forms, but no is always no.
