Tell me the most unhinged way to stay motivated for the gym

I’m not talking like “just make it a habit” or “just get yourself to drive there”…I’m saying like the most unique way or unhinged way you keep yourself accountable to go to the gym/workout/stay fit.

I’m a very unmotivated person thanks to various mental health reasons so I’m looking to see if anyone has any odd/unusual ways they stay motivated.

I feel like when I see other transmen/transmascs being super fit on my tik tok fyp, I have this big rush of motivation but obviously it goes away once I put the phone down.

Let’s hear what you got!

Scroll to next photo to see pre-T vs 4.5 years on T

Got more comfortable with who I was pre-T once I reached my goal of what I wanted to see with T. I posted a little explanation on my ig story so I’ll share it with y’all:

“Pre-T me was beautiful, she was stunning, and at one point she felt pretty. However despite her looks, she was uncomfortable. When she wore dresses and/or tight skin revealing shirts, it felt like she was missing something. It was like a layer of extra clothing was missing to hide her feminine body from the world. She also didn’t feel much deep connections with other girls, she felt distant and lonely. She was in a sorority and felt like she had to fit in with what a girl was supposed to do. She had no idea how to express or explain that she felt uncomfortable as what she was performing as, a girl that is. Once she started to break out of that norm, the short haircut, the change of clothing to present more masculine, and the overall dynamic made sense, it was natural. Once he came in the picture, he loved how he was perceived as. He gained deeper connections and felt more comfortable in his body as time went on. He started to gain friends in the community, people he could relate to. Looking back, the changes I made the moment I graduated college was fast and it was a quick turnaround. I cut my hair short and started dressing masculine in October of 2020. In October of 2021, I realized I was trans. In January of 2022, I started T, and in December of 2022 I got top surgery. I don’t blame my old friends for not understanding, I never expected them to realize how I was feeling when I never ever communicated my true emotions around performing as a girl. I lost a lot of friends due to my transition (literally so many…like 50), and all I can hope and dream now is that they can look at me now and say that he finally looks happy and that he’s living the life that he deserves. Despite no contact and no closure, believing that they think negative things about me does nothing but harm my feelings and mind. So alas, I will carry on!”
