Pretty much long story short I work on Saturdays for this cleaning business my friends mom owns and she always only pays in cash which I never thought was weird but today I worked 8 and a half hours and she sent me $120 and after doing the math I realized that's like $14.50 an hour mind you I'm in New Jersey where the min wage is $16.50 so I texted her saying that's below minimum wage and she like went on about it not being taxed and said "so technically if it was a paycheck you'd be making 18 an hour" but that logic doesn't really make sense to me since she's still blatantly paying under minimum wage. Idk am I crazy or was this a legit complaint
