Can’t use my per diem for gyms anymore? Fine, I’m maxing my per diem every day.

Very mild, but it’s costing my company more money now that they want me to spend my own money at a gym while I’m traveling.

Our company recently got corporate credit cards so they could keep track of things easier and get points instead of us on our own personal credit cards. At first I hated this, but it made expense reports infinitely easier. However, they were more lax with the rules. You could use your per diem for basically anything as long as you didn’t exceed it. I often would have anywhere from $20 to $50 left in per diem every day because I meal prepped as best I could and ate healthy, but cheaply.

Well, after the switch, I got a chargeback for going to the gym. When I asked about this, I was informed that per diem is strictly for meals only. Ok, fine, fuck it, but now I max my per diem every single day to the last few cents. Even if it’s just me getting food and giving it away, or feeding animals with it. Want to cheap out on my $10-$20 gym membership? Sure! But now it’s costing you hundreds more every day. And I average 2 to 3 months a year travel time.

Get fucked, corporation.

Cost of fence same price when combined with neighbors.

Hey guys I was wondering if this seems right. Got quoted $6700 for a fence. The fence is a white vinyl fence, which is what all of our neighbors have as well. Weirdly, the price is the same for the fence regardless if we connect to the neighbors fence or not. When combined with the neighbors fence, it easily reduces the need for labor and materials by 25%. Is there any reason the price would be the same? The guy simply said “the cost of vinyl has gone up”. Ok, so we are saving you some vinyl by connecting to the neighbors fence.

To any of those who have had a delayed flight leaving from BNA, I apologize.

According to google, 77% of flights depart on time from BNA; however, I feel I must take accountability for the other 23%. I fly for work a lot and for some reason I have brought a curse with me whenever I try to depart from BNA. I had so many delayed flights that I researched my delays out of morbid curiosity. Turns out, out of 29 flights from BNA, I have only had 3 successful on time departures. I must continue flying from BNA due to the nature of my work, but I apologize to all of you for whom I’ve cause flight delays.

New wheel chair before 5 years? Medicare

Hey everyone,

My mom has an electric wheelchair which has had basically every part on it replaced over the past 4 years. Medicare has informed her that they will not give her a new one despite the fact that hers seems to be on the outs. Is there any way around this rule, or anything which can be done in order to speed the process up? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Please, need immediate help

Purchased a 2020 model S from a dealership which seemed reputable. Had the car for a month and a half with no issues. Was only slow charging at the house with a regular 110v and never had an issue. Took my first road trip today, and once I charged it at a supercharger, the vehicle said “low power mode, and low 12v battery, will not start”. I ran out to get a multimeter and checked the 12v. It read perfectly fine at 13v. I then did a hard reset and the vehicle will not automatically reboot. I can reboot it temporarily, but it shuts back off. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Edit: the car will now not start at all and is bricked. Tesla tow service only wants to send the vehicle 80 miles in the opposite direction of my home which is 137 miles in the opposite direction
