How to keep a flipped view from reverting in a puppet?

hi, so basically, I have an assignment where we’re blocking out a scene with a puppet, but the puppet I’m using‘s opposite view was flipped

so now, when I try to paste one part of the puppet

example: a left facing flipped head into a right facing body,

it just reverts the head back to facing right.

how do I keep it from unflipping while avoiding any issues?

Puppet rig pieces not pasting correctly?

hi, so I have a puppet rig assignment, and we’re moving on to the general blocking of the scene with the puppet, everything was going great until Whenever I try to copy paste a certain part of a view (like a side profile arm to a front view) it just doesn’t do anything?

is there a known way to fix this? Like, is there something I’m overlooking here?

for added context we were instructed to basically copy paste the parent peg key frame of the body part to the particular frame we’re trying to switch the views of for that part.

EDIT:So I think one of the issues is that the rig’s opposite side was flipped, so when I try to copy paste it, it just paste the same image unflipped. Is there a way to fix this?

HI! long story short , I flipped a part of a turnaround for an assignment, but we can’t have any of the Scale x negative (which it now is) We weren’t taught how to flip a turnaround, so this is the best I’ve got lol. Is there a way to make the Scale x a positive while keeping the part of the turnaround flipped? thank you so much.
