My reasoning for this is quite simple. Most units age well entirely on the basis of their core mechanics, whereas the reason Nusjuro still is meta is due to the insane damage he deals(he only has one knockback skill btw). I’ll take the examples of DRoger and Snake, whom I think are undisputably the best aging units in the game. DRoger aged well because of his heavy damage reduction as well as his 20-30% HP trait. Snake aged well for having knockback on every single attack she throws as well as her teleport. Nusjuro is arguably the number one defender rn entirely because he can one/two tap all the runners in the game(excepting DRoger). But the kit he has is not at all resistant to power creeping. To explain power creeping, the best example would be LShanks, who had the power to one/two tap the entire roster through his meta and now deals single digit damage to the Wings. Now take a scenario which would likely be reality in half a year or a year, where he would be the one dealing single digit damage to runners(like he already does to the wings btw). Useless as a defender owing to one knockback skill, useless as an attacker due to very low damage. His speed could be essential in capping mid first, but besides that he wouldn’t be useful, assuming Bandai continues with the rate of power creeping they’ve been going with since they dropped Nusjuro himself.
