Silk Sonic - Tour Edition vinyl (UPDATE)
Well my original post didn't get any response, so I guessed I had to take matter into my own hand and purchased the damn thing ;D In case you, like me 2 days ago, are standing in front of Bruno's running tour's merch stand, and wondering why this Silk Song vinyl is 70€ (that's 35€ more than the The Romantic vinyl) and labeled as "Tour Edition", I hope this post finds you :)
Disclaimer I don't own any other version of this vinyl. I'm curious to hear from you if you do, and whether there are any differences between this Tour version and the others.
The Tour edition in my hand seems overall premium compared many other vinyls I own lol. The cover has a matte finish, not glossy at all like most vinyls I have - it feels really nice in my hands. Talking about things that feel nice in my hands, the main feature of this edition (that I hope is the main difference to other variants) is the dust sleeve. It's not this regular, paper thin sleeve like you'd see in other vinyls. This thing is made out of ✨suede leather✨ and it feels luxurious as shit to touch, really on brand with Silk Sonic haha. There's a little downside to this material though that is it will leave some kind of fabric residue on the vinyl, after you slide it out of the sleeve. Nothing a dust cleaner can't handle though.
So now, please, someone tell me that this Tour edition has some differences to other variants out there, or please just confirm that I paid 70€ for an otherwise 25€ purchase from Amazon 😂😂
PS: tbh I don't regret the purchase one bit, since their performance was so goddamn good it felt just right to pull the trigger on the vinyl. Esp. since I hadn't owned it yet.
